I’ve been doing a little surfing and found and excellent website which appears more unbiased than your average newspaper/TV channel/politician! It’s www.voterpower.org.uk, and details lots of interesting facts about your MP. I took a look at my constituency http://www.voterpower.org.uk/lanark-hamilton-east and was shocked to see just how little influence my vote’s going to have, take a look at yours! Another site giving some facts n figures about your MP is www.theyworkforyou.com, again I was interested to see how much/little my MP seems to do (the fact he’s only been present for about 50-60% of the votes speaks volumes to me - just wonder how the rest of the MPs do, much the same I imagine). Lots of other interesting stuff on both sites, even when it’s not election time, take a look, you’ll be surprised
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/jimmy_hood/lanark_and_hamilton_east Jimmy Hood’s my MP (though why the change to "Jim" after being known as "Jimmy" for so long?)
Anyway, I doubt if anyone’s ever going to look at this page, but I hope you take a look at this, quite interesting answers to some commonly asked questions:

Always on the lookout for a good feature rich blogging tool? Me too, though I have another criteria I always like included, price and with Bytescout’s Post2Blog - a desktop blogging client for Windows, the price doesn’t get much better - it’s free!
I’ve tried a few and currently Post2Blog’s my current favourite, though you might like to take a look at Zoundry Raven, although it’s not quite so feature rich and unfortunately now unsupported. |

Shiver me timbers and that sorta stuff, we were out this week getting some culture! One of Marlyn's friends was playing a part in "Pirates of Penzance", so we went along to give her some support. It was very good, not quite what I'd expected from an opera

Get paid to have your PC on!! I've made over $500 from these people, just running a wee program, approximately $45 a month easily! I know it's not much but it's always something, sign up and try it for yourself, it's free!Technorati Tags: paid, money, free

Adding the Repository The following command adds Medibuntu's repository to Ubuntu. It also adds Medibuntu's GPG key to your keyring, which is needed to authenticate the Medibuntu packages. -
This command should be run in the Terminal (Applications → Accessories → Terminal): sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list && sudo apt-get -q update && sudo apt-get --yes -q --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get -q update Medibuntu's repository is deactivated by upgrading to a newer Ubuntu release, so you should run this command again after the release upgrade.
Direct link and all so I can convert Realmovie(.RM) files to AVI, using the following: mencoder -ovc lavc file1.rm -oac mp3lame -o file1.avi
